Ai
no shirushi [Sign of love]
The title says it all. This is a simple & sweet love song. It has a very cute PV too. Kusano-san originally wrote this song for Puffy,
he said the lyrics would've been different
if he wrote it for the band.

Ajisai doori [Ajisai road]
Ajisai is a flower's name, also known as Hydrangea. It blooms in the rainy season and has beautiful colors of blue, violet, pink and white. The color of the flower changes with the PH of it's soil. It's one of my favorite flower, the bluish gradient color is really beautiful and the rain that accompany it give such a sentimental feeling.

Cosmos <- Flower's name
Cosmos is a flower which bloom in Autumn. It's beauty add a great deal to the melancholic scenery of the season. Kusano-san use it to represent the sadness of losing someone you love. You can hear it in his voice, the melody and the lyric. Everything about this song makes me feel like crying ;__;

Escargot [France: Snail]
Ok... this is the most difficult lyric to translate. I could be wrong but this sounds like a playful cry out with cut-out words. I spent hours on it but I still can't figure out what this song is all about but I really like the rhyming randomness, the laid-back feelings and it makes me happy just by singing along with it.

Je t'aime? [France: I love you]
Imagine someone is convinced that she's in love with you, but you can see that she's wrong. Imagine that you're slowly falling for her, but she is still wrong. Romantic but a little heart breaking at the same time.

Kaede [Maple tree]
A suffocating feelings of losing someone dear and missing her awfully. Kusano-san turn a sad experience into an unforgettable beautiful memories. This is my first SPITZ song that got it all started, a very good ballad. I've named one of my manga character
based on this song.

Sora mo toberu hazu [I can fly even to
the sky]
This is a lovely song. I always feel so happy when hearing this song.
Can't believe that the lyric isn't that lovely but that's typical Kusano-san I suppose ^_^;

Tekuteku [Trudgingly; Going long way at steady pace]
The melody gives you a lovely Spring feelings. Sounds like a fresh but cold Spring days when snow just melted. Though rain might fall but it won't wash away the colors, it will nurture the soil and let flowers blooms. The lyric is about a broken heart walking it's way ahead.

Umeboshi [Pickled plum]
This song catched my attention as soon as I heard "Umeboshi tabetaaaai, umeboshi tabetai boku wa ima sugu kimi ni aitai". I was mesmerized by the simplicity. But seriously even when some people say that it sounds so uncool I find it touching. A taste of something reminds you of someone and make you miss them, love are on those little things you do.

Unmei no hito [The destined one]
I love the melody of this song and the weird but funny PV. The lyric is a little wicked but cute.

Y
The melody is slow and somewhat haunting. The lyric heading the same direction but it won't be Kusano's if you can't find just a little love and beauty in it.

Yume
oi mushi [Dreamchasing bug]
My fave lyric! I love how Kusano-san decribe himself as a
tiny bug who's life is short and stained. Who yearned and betrayed but
can't help living, overcoming pains & continuing chasing after dreams.
His lyrics are always self-critical, ironic yet dreamy and motivating.
How I love his wonderful words *_*
