Ristorante Paradiso

I saw the anime adaptation from this manga by Ono Natsume. One of my fave mangaka. She has a very unique drawing style, which leans a bit on European style and her story telling is between Japanese and European (Italy). This one is a lady comic (for adult female reader) but she also created many BL one.

Ristorante Paradiso tells a story about a girl, Nicoletta, who went to Rome to find her mother, who left her to remarried and kept her existence in secret. Her suppose to be step father owns a restaurant in Rome and she went there to meet her mother.
The restaurant is a small one with gorgeous good looking older gentlemen, all wearing glasses
Can't really explains the oddity here, but you'll find out why when you watch the anime
Anyway, she falls in love with the head waiter Claudio and the story gets more and more interesting.

It's a romance and drama that revolves around every person in the restaurant. The story is always accompanied with good food and wine. I just love the tranquility and the elegance.

Wah, it seems really nice! Unfortunately, it isn't translated in French. But I have faith: her serie "Goyou" is translated so maybe they'll do others! ^^

I also understand what you mean about her style, Aoi-chan. I didn't read "Goyou" but I've browsed through it and indeed, the drawing is unique!
